After 10 years living the rat race in London, working with highly strung & high maintenance Investment Bankers, I returned to Brisbane in 2005 & decided to change pace. An abrupt career change ensued – becoming a Travel Consultant seemed a fabulous plan - surely people would be happy when they were about to go on holidays…+ think of all the perks!

A lot had changed in my absence however. Brisbane has moved on significantly (although when are we going to be able to eat out after 10pm!?) but that laid back lifestyle I remember just isn’t the same.

People are working longer hours…usually for better rewards…but at what cost? Personal lifestyle is the first to suffer - too much work & not enough play!

As a result of this continuing trend (and my little brother offering to pay for me to collect his dry-cleaning) I decided to establish Miss Kris in 2007 + play a small, but expanding, role in helping give Brisbanite’s their life back!
